This watercolour characterillustration of a DSA Elf is a private comission I just finished today. The initial sketch was done in pencil, the lineart in Photoshop and the colours completely traditional watercolour. The final is apart from my signet completely original without any digital editing.

I really like how it turned out, especially my "purple shadows" experiment, and I had a lot of fun painting her and her furry friend. Lynx are sooooo fluffy! :)

Freebooter - Spiders and sexy Pirates

Just in time for the international games fair in Essen this year, Freebooter Miniatures released some new miniatures for their game "Freebooter's Fate", as well as the additional rulebook "Deep Jungle". As usual Werner Klocke did an incredible job modeling the miniatures.

Freebooter - Qualani

The miniature of the amazon scout "Qualani" was already released october last year. The picture below of the final and really nice painted miniature is from Freebooter Miniatures.

With their successful release at the RPC in Cologne this year, I can finally show off the conceptart based on which Werner Klocke modeled these fantastic miniatures for the Tabletop Game Freebooters Fate. These four girls are the first ones, that were released after the scout Qualani and there are a lot more to come!

Freebooter Concepts

The rulebook for "Freebooter's Fate" was just released, so I thought that I'd share some of the concepts I did for this really awesome game with you. If you get the chance, check it out. It's got lots and lots of pirates and stuff in it, and it's really fun to play!
